Drew represented Carlisle Track & Field at the PTFCA Indoor Championships in State College on 3/1/26. Drew qualified to compete for shotput at States as well as Nike Indoor Nationals in NYC in March!

Please congratulate our top-2 Track and Field student-athletes who have both qualified for the PA State Indoor T&F Championships. Ana Bondy in the mile, and Drew Hopper in the Shot Put. Additionally, Drew threw another school record in the weight throw this past weekend at Bucknell and even hit the provisional National Qualifier of 54 feet! Note that it was only his 2nd time being able to compete in the event! Congratulations!
State College MidPenn Meet (@ PSU) 2/18/26
The Indoor Track and Field team competed at Penn State Wednesday night and produced some fantastic results, headlined by Drew Hopper at the shot put. Drew needed to PR by a foot to break into the state qualifying top-20, but he instead broke his own school record by FOUR feet moving the mark to 56 feet, 9 inches. This guarantees he will be Carlisle's first male thrower to qualify for Indoor States in school history!
Many other good things happened, but the boys 4x200 meter relay was the other big highlight. They ran 1:35.86 to break a school record that had stood for a decade. The relay members going into the record books are Logan Genga, Landon Trahan, Jaiden Kipp, and Abulkassim Abdelrahim. Congratulations boys!

Carlisle's indoor T&F team was on the road at Bucknell University this past weekend and we'd like to congratulate them on some outstanding results. Drew Hopper set a new school record in the weight throw at 46 feet, 10 inches. He also nearly topped his own already existing shot put record, so it was a good day for Drew!
Also, our distance medley relays put on a show toward the end of the meet. Our boys team of Kolbin Heberlig, Vitor Santos, Luke Kaden, and Seth Reichenbach, ran the 8th fastest time in PA so far this year! Not to be outdone, the girls team of Elisabeth Bordner, Ikram Issakh, Allie Julias, and Ana Bondy ran what is currently the 6th fastest time in PA with Ana breaking the 5-minute barrier on the anchor leg! Great job all of you!
