Welcome to the Science Program!
We are proud of the variety of science courses that are offered throughout all grades at the Carlisle Area School District.
All elementary students in grades K-5 have science embedded into their curriculum.
All 6th - 8th grade students will have Physical, Life and Earth Science embedded within their classes every year. This spiraled curriculum allows for a deeper understanding of the material throughout their middle school years and provides a cohesive learning experience to better prepare students for the Science PSSA, which occurs at the end of 8th grade.
All 9th-12th graders are offered a wide variety of science courses, including electives in the sciences, as well as academic pathways that are found within these course offerings. We provide a variety of Advanced Placement science offerings which follows the College Board curriculum.
